SharePoint Foundation 2013 enables the building of teamsites, the basic functions for the search and the ability to use the BusinessConnectivity Services. The Enterprise CAL is the availability ofbusiness service applications, such as Access, Visio or Forms Services and theBI capabilities.
SharePoint (On-Premise) is licensed through the volumelicensing program and may be obtained from one of the following license types: Open,Select Plus and Enterprise Agreement . TheOpen License Program is not bound by any contract, the software can be orderedas needed and paid directly. The Select Contracts are generally tied to athree-year term, but have a higher discount than Open. With the EnterpriseAgreement (EA), the highest discount level can be achieved.
